Living only two minutes from the station is a convenience that is hard to find in Tokyo, and one of the largest benefits that Hachimanyama offers to residents. Living only a two minute walk away insures that you won`t miss your train or have to worry about miserable weather during your commute. The second highlight is the beautiful renovation and construction, this house is not lacking for style in any way. Not only is the house itself beautiful and fully renovated, but it also furnished with the latest appliances and equipment. Finally, the third great point about this house is the accessibility. Not only is the station close, but you can easily access many major points around Tokyo from it. With the ability to reach areas like Shinjuku in 15 minutes or Shibuya in 13 minutes, this station epitomizes convenience.

Things to Do: Hachimanyama station is located just on the edge of Setagaya and Suginami. The station was recently renovated in 2006, so still seems very new. The elevated area under the station, "Keio Ritonado Hachimanyama", has become a shopping mall. Incidentally, Ritonado comes from a combination of the Spanish "retoño (young shoots )" and French "Promenade (walking )". In this shopping area are over thirty stores and cafes, so it should be fun to explore. Additionally, eight malls are located around the station, lined with hotels, restaurants, beauty parlors, and other shops for your everyday life. A variety of medical facilities in the area also help support a healthy life style. Meanwhile, Hachiomanyama is also known as the residence of famous Japanese journalist Soichi Oya. After the death of Mr. Oya, Oya Soichi Bunko Library was established with a huge collection of journals and media. The library has a location near the entrance of the station, nearby another large bookstore. This atmosphere will surely help inspire the academic in you as well.

Interior: ARDEN Hachimanyama also has plenty of storage space. Every room is fitted with a hanging cupboard, with additional storage space under the beds. Moreover, some private rooms include additional closet space. Modern toilets, with bidets, and large wash basins round out the facilities nicely.
